Reacts while you work
Companions respond to Play Mode, compilation, Console warnings and errors, successful builds, clicks, and inactivity.
Unity Editor tool · Released
A little animated pet that lives inside your Unity workspace, reacts to what you are doing, and remembers when you need a task - or a break.
Launch price in USD through September 2, 2026. itch.io handles purchase and download.
Built into your day
Editor Companion follows the real rhythm of a Unity session: working, waiting, fixing, building, and remembering to step away.
Companions respond to Play Mode, compilation, Console warnings and errors, successful builds, clicks, and inactivity.
Two cats and two dogs ship with independent names, behavior settings, animation preferences, and reaction options.
Keep your companion floating beside Unity, dock it as an Editor window, or place it in the Scene View Overlay.
Create one-time or repeating reminders for tasks and breaks, then mark them done or snooze them for later.
Turn transparent PNG frames into sprite sheets, animations, reactions, bounds, click areas, and configuration files.
Keep each companion’s settings separate and import or export profiles between Unity projects.
Make it yours
The included Custom Pet Wizard takes ordinary transparent PNG animation frames and builds the Unity setup around them.
Drop in a folder of frames and the wizard creates the sprite sheets, animation data, reactions, transparency bounds, click areas, and configuration files needed by Editor Companion. There is no coding and no manual JSON editing.
